"The lotus symbolizes the seed of inner awareness... Growing beyond the muddy depths, rising through mirky waters, budding into the vast air of possibility, then blossoming gloriously into pure radiant "Enlightened Luminosity". The seed of ultimate awareness; has been, is and will forever be "in" us, it lies wait within the depths of our true being, patiently awaiting our intention to focus inward... Once realization of our ultimate "I am-ness" is realized, there is no more searching or striving, just pure infinite Being...
Welcome...
This site is ever evolving... Your patience is greatly appreciated! Thank you! The purpose of this site is helping those seeking help, to help themselves within... At this time, there is nothing to buy... All the information you need resides within you and this site is meant to inspire (in-spire) you, to remember (re-member) your real and true Self. Once awakened, nothing else will ever be the same... Blessings to you all, and thank you for visiting!
This site is dedicated to "discovery" (dis-cover-I)... The aspect of uncovering the truth, to Be all that we already truly are... Rather than continuing to repeat other's definitions of; who and what we "should" be!
In life, we are directed and/or taught to believe (in a certain way) in order to guide and provide ourselves the "necessary" means to gain; true happiness, fulfillment, love and success... Doing as instructed, our efforts "seem" destined to work, but too often we find ourselves running in place (like on a gerbil wheel), seeing no results and wondering where did we go wrong?! The key isn't found outside of us; rather the journey to all these things we've been directed to seek outwardly, actually begins and ends "within"! The essential elements involved discovering our real and true Selves, is simply understanding from a new perspective where our; beliefs, feelings and thoughts came from, how and why they were created, where they take us, how these things create both what we do and don't want, and how to Be and create differently (than what we were taught!), in a way that actually allows true joy (already radiating within us!) to emit from within and outwardly, providing sustainable results in all areas of our lives (inspiring both others "and" ourselves). Once perception of the elements we adopted, are seen for the illusions they really are, then life becomes a joyous journey of; discovery (dis-cover-I), seeing what could never be observed before, achieving desires and goals in a way that is sustainably fulfilled, rather than just another illusionary temporary fix that once again leaves us empty, searching for more~!
What is written below is an inspired perspective which may or may not have been considered before, however, the journey to here has helped many; bring about, inspire, or offer; clarity, direction, inspiration and peace, to what has been mass confusion for thousands of years... Enjoy!
The inspiration behind the name:
Enlightened: simply means an alternative way of; learning, perceiving, realizing, seeing, thinking and/or understanding something "new" (or unknown before!), regarding so-called "truths" of who and what we are, and what life is about... This "enlightened" effect is like having an aha (or light bulb) moment of; pure awareness, new or renewed discovery, and inspiration, with all aspects of ourselves and life. An additional quality, is an aspect of pure Being and knowing residing within each of us, surpassing all conventional explanation and understanding that is "always" united with the Divine... (Enlightened, In - light - I - in -ed (the "ed" part, means "we are already here"!))
Luminosity: is understanding that just by being alive, everyone; emits, exudes and/or radiates; an energy, inner and outer essence, light, spirit, etc. This luminosity begins as a spark of the Divine, in the instant of conception and radiates outwardly... Encompassing all aspects of our lives, up and until we pass on.
Therefore, "Enlightened Luminosity" is opening awareness through; acknowledging, discovering, knowing and understanding our true inner; Being, Pure Essence, inherent (or already existing) radiance and/or light that has always resided in and around us since we were created, but we may not be aware of this aspect and/or have been taught of its existence. Through; discovery, knowing, knowledge and recognition of this aspect's existence (and how it "always" works for our benefit!), we then are capable of; Being, becoming and creating all that we truly "already" are (prior to entrainment, or what we were taught to believe as true that isn't!), rather than continuing to choose to be directed and/or defined by others conventions, i.e.; definitions, descriptions and / or labels, concerning who and what we "should" be.
Once opened in full awareness of our already existing "Enlightened Luminosity" (authenticity, true being and knowing) it is a constant in every aspect of our lives! There is no more searching, just pure infinite Being...
As children, we all innocently and naively accepted and adopted other's definitions as our own, simply because we were taught and/or thought this is what we are / were "supposed" to do. None of us (to a certain degree) were ever given (or sometimes offered!) any indication that what was being taught to us, we actually had multiple choices to; accept, change, question, reject and / or throw out this information, especially as we grew out of childhood into adulthood. Therefore, what we accepted and adopted as "truth", may not be (it may have been to someone at some point in time, but that doesn't mean it's relevant and / or workable now!). Bottom line, we (and even those who taught us) really didn't know any better... We all accepted and complied (went along with) with this information out of wanting acceptance and approval... However, there come times in life when things don't seem to be working out (as we understood they should), and no matter how hard we try, the result isn't what we desire (or were told how it "should" turn out), so we search for answers and try, try, try something else... This gerbil wheel of searching continues until we become aware, realizing our compliance to others; behaviors, beliefs, definitions, identity, how things work and what life is supposed to be like, is the actual cause of our difficulties!
Once awareness of this conformity to "conventional" (what everyone else is doing); acting, believing, feeling and thinking is realized, we can immediately choose differently... All that is needed, is simply release these pre-scripted duplicated ideals (I-deal) back into the ether from where they originated, and choose to be and/or create in a way that truly suits and supports who you (and others!) really are, and / or would like to become. Truth be told, possibilities are infinite...
Obtaining enlightenment: Most people are lead to believe that "enlightenment" is only attainable through "following" a guru (or some other self-proclaimed "teacher"). The truth, enlightenment can literally happen in an "instant" (this aspect has been revealed through numerous mystics in countless religions and spiritual modalities for literally thousands of years)! The true originators of the system of "gurus" (bringing out of the goo, "guides", light bridgers, teachers, wisdom providers, etc.) intent, was to share their wisdom "with" the student, up to and/or until pure awareness (or "Enlightened Luminosity") is made aware of within, cultivated and able to take over. It wasn't ever meant that we follow another human being's criterion and/or dictates for the rest of our lives! Simply put, enlightenment is a place within that you open yourself to. Ultimately, the only guide and/or teacher you really need; is, already exists and resides within each of us (the loving Presence that cares and loves you no matter what, and always provides subtle inner hints (or promptings), thus offering options for making choices that lead to positive and sustainable outcomes)!
The only requirement to become "open to all that you already are", is releasing any "beliefs" (or what I like to call the "be-leaves"). In essence, first you are "being" in one moment (Being your true peaceful and pure "Enlightened Luminosity")... Then in the next instant, you leave (be -then- leave) this peaceful pure moment, journeying in your mind (the learned ego's playground) to a place where it meanders, or wanders through a list of things (what others have told you, you adopted and are now repeating!), telling you a story that leads your; attention, emotions and energy, to places that you were taught (and therefore thought) you want to go to, or don't (imagine running in place on a gerbil wheel~!)...
When your mind speaks, redirecting your focus to places other than this moment, where you feel you need to "win", be "better" than someone else, and/or even be "better" for yourself, this aspect is called "ego" (or the false self definitions (de-fine-I-on, making ourselves in other's images) that we all adopted and learned from others as being; important, relevant and true). Understand, we all have adopted others; beliefs, definitions, etc. However, at a certain point in our lives, we get to move beyond other's ego belief systems including their; comfort zones, legacies and modes of operation, to be and create in ways that both guide and support ourselves (and others!) in all areas of our lives.
To explain further; ego is an acronym meaning "Edging God Out", which implies that when we are caught up in our "stories" (store-I's / experiences, most of which are learned behaviors that we adopted and are repeating, because we don't know any better!) trying to feel better about our learned definition of "self" (not our; pure, undefinable and true authentic Self!), or feel better about something learned outside of ourselves... We are metaphorically placing our pure Divine aspect (that is already inside of us now, observing all of this) in a corner, allowing this "ego" (or false definition of self, we adopted or learned to be true) to venture into other focused territories (or stories, store-I's, we learned and observed) that suits whatever it's learned gratification (or distraction) of the moment is going to be (and/or what it was taught it "should" experience). Mind you, this distraction may include steering our emotions to places where we feel; bad, or good (essentially some fleeting moment, that's never sustainable, which causes us to once again "search" for the illusive (seemingly out of reach) "something" to once again fill our "learned" empty places / spaces!). It's sole purpose is simply to distract our attention away from our pure Divine nature and/or our true Selves (which is what we were taught to do)~! Once we are ready to stop this falsely created aspect (the ego) from its adventures, then the Divine Presence takes over again (or stated in another way, we become at peace once again) allowing the natural flow of our "Enlightened Luminosity" to guide us, creating; effective, peaceful and sustainable results.
There are those that feel we should "integrate" (or join together) our "ego" (a defined, limited and learned aspect from others) with our "Divine Self" (a pure aspect of being that is; indefinable, incorruptible and limitless!)... I disagree... The ego is nothing more than a false made-up aspect that we all; adopted, chose to be in agreement with, and/or learned from others as existing and/or being important. So the question then becomes, "Why integrate something that in truth is; false, limited, made-up and doesn't really exist?!"...
The only reason this aspect (ego) "seems" to exist, is because we choose to be in agreement with others about it, and therefore by mutual delusion (figment of imagination!), it continues plague all aspects of our collective and individual existences (the separate "us verses them" mentality is ego!). The way to dissolve this aspect from ruling our lives, is simply to become; aware, realize and recognize its fabrication (like a mirage that fades once you get near it) and don't allow it to be, or play a part in your life anymore! It's as simple as a choice, for instance, deciding whether you would like a glass of soda (not healthy!), or water (definitely healthy!). Another way to look at this is, asking yourself if you want a roller coaster ride of "drama" (which ego is intended and meant to create!) that goes around and around, up and down, resulting in resolving nothing (except more drama~!)... Or choosing a balanced way of Being (your true "Enlightened Luminosity") that provides looking and witnessing things from a calm place, thus offering and opening ourselves to numerous opportunities for; inspiration, resolution and peace?!
When you accept your Divinity (and others as well!), you stop taking up space in your being and mind comparing, and thus are open to enjoy; others, your true self and "all" that is around you... In a state of openness, you receive what you need and thus are open to endless possibilities, rather than being closed off searching, trying to find the elusive "something" that is and has always been, "within" you all along (likened to a dog chasing it's tail, not understanding that it's tail is attached)!
Ultimately, this journey is about you, finding your "real" You. Literally, no one can help you find your "true Self", but many can inspire you, to open yourself to your true Self. Life is about discovery... Once you open to your already existing; inborn, true and real "Enlightened Luminosity", there's no turning back, simply because nothing else will ever provide you the ultimate fulfillment that is honestly residing within you "right now", patiently waiting for you to turn your; attention and intention inward!
As an example to this line of thought, I will share an old Hindu legend that was shared "with" me from one of numerous guides and inspirers decades ago:
"There was a time when all human beings were god/desses, but they so abused their divinity that the chief God/dess, decided to take it away from them and hide it where they would never find it. Where to hide it became the big question...
When the lessor god/desses were called in council to consider this question, they said, "We will bury the human's divinity deep in the earth." But the head God/dess said, "No, that will not do, for eventually they will dig down deep enough and find it." Then they said, "Well, we will sink their divinity deep into the deepest ocean." But again the reply was, "No not there, for they will learn to dive into the deepest waters, search the ocean bed and eventually find it." Then the lessor god/desses said, "We will take it to the top of the highest mountain and hide it there." But again the head God/dess's replied, "No, for the humans will eventually climb every mountain on earth. They will be sure to someday find it and again take it up for themselves." Then the lessor god/desses gave up and concluded, "We don't know where to hide it, for it seems there is no place on the earth, or in the sea that humans will not eventually reach." Then the head God/dess said, "Here's what we will do with the human's divinity... We will hide it deep down within the humans themselves, for they will never think to look for it there.
Ever since then, the legend continues, humans have been going up and down the earth, climbing, digging, diving, exploring, searching for something that is already in themselves!"
So at this point, you may ask, "How do I find enlightenment?" The answer; it already resides inside of you! Realize, any "lack" you perceive that you have, is nothing more than a perception given to you by other's definitions and projections that you; adopted, or chose to believe (the "be" in one moment, then in the next instant "leave", be-leave) as true... Let go of this misguided belief (being in one moment, then in the next instant leaving, aspect) and accept the purity that has existed with You, since conception! You may state that you see others as being and / or having traits that are "better" than you, and /or you perceive that you don't have... Understand, this is the made-up ego talking, and not your unadulterated (meaning: before conventional entrainment by others) pure Divine Self speaking. Your "Enlightened Luminosity" aspect doesn't ever judge if something is "bad or good", it just "Is", and it's a part of you "right now"!
Understand too, just by perceiving and/or seeing something positive in someone else, means this trait already exists inside of you! If this trait weren't already a part of you, point blank, you wouldn't see it in someone else... It's just that simple! Release the perception of; lack and unworthiness, and instead; accept, acknowledge and know your; abundance, enlightenment, fullness (and/or whatever else you choose to call it), this aspect exists and resides "in and with you" right "now"!
Within the realm of the true Divine Self, differentiating between and/or labeling things such as; higher, lower, good, bad, right, wrong, etc. doesn't exist! These labels were initially created by those who wanted control over the masses... What these self proclaimed "leaders" (to lead in error, lead-ers!) figured out in order to gain control, all they had to do was create dualities (or opposite desires) to allow folks to understand what they; did and didn't want. They added to and/or reinforced the creation of this dichotomy (opposites of likes and dislikes (or preferences)) by creating punishments and rewards, thereby cementing or solidifying their desires (thoughts) with results (meaning actions, such as; rewards and punishments). This ideal (I-deal, agreed upon arrangement) eventually became an accepted reality amongst others, because everyone "under" their self created "power" either followed the "rules" (do what they desired and/or wanted) or suffered the consequences (for "not" doing and fulfilling what they wanted)! In truth, many of our ancestors (and folks today!) went along with these dictates (desires) only because if they didn't, folks could find themselves in situations where the result of not following these "leaders" rules (personal; choices, desires, proclivities, etc.) could be; the loss of a loved one, be ostracized (thrown out of the community), put in prison, punished, starved, tortured, be put to death, etc. If you look and think back throughout history, you will find that there really isn't a single solitary culture or religious modality that this aspect hasn't been a part of it's means and ways of operating (although, there are those cultures and/or religious modalities that eventually grew away from this created ego dynamic of "leaders and followers", simply because revolutions against dictators happened, and folks chose to become accepting and peaceful by working "with" others towards what is beneficial for "all" people (hence, the original creation and meaning of "democracy" or stated in a different way, "equality")!
Feelings: There are some who state, "You need to "feel" through the uncomfortable things in your thoughts and/or life perceptions in order to move past them"... What you really have to ask yourself is, "Is what I'm feeling (or have felt) truly "authentic" and "genuine", or a byproduct of; accepting, adopting and observing someone else's definition, of how it's "supposed" to feel and look, when I feel or have a feeling?!"...
Too much of our defined definitions of "feelings" are nothing more than copied patterns or scripts, learned from others; definitions, examples and explanations that we are lead to believe are "real" (because to those folks, they were led to believe it too!), followed by examples of a particular line of; actions, emotions and thoughts...
For instance, any dramatic; book, show on the Internet, TV (including the "news"), movies, etc. dramatize events in order to specifically create and/or evoke emotions for our so-called "amusement" (or distraction!). Truth be told, on some level of our being we observe this created drama and tend to think, "Oh, that's what that emotion and/or feeling looks like, so this is how I will; adopt, copy, emulate, react or respond (both inwardly and outwardly) to a given situation, in order to "show" another person how and what "I feel" (nope, it's what you "learned" to feel!). Unfortunately, this way of defining and emulating emotions other's portray, and then copy into our own lives, only leads us into more unnecessary drama; as depicted, reenacted and represented by; actors, bosses, coworkers, parents, siblings, acquaintances, friends, politicians, etc.! Instead, when something doesn't go the way we want it to (or have been lead to understand that's the way it "should" be), steering our thoughts toward solutions (what we want that is good for "all" parties involved!) will far better serve others as well as ourselves. It will also provide others and ourselves freedom and space within, to involve our attention and energies with things that feed and inspire our innate (already existing and present) bliss and joy, rather than engrossing (in gross, muddy) ourselves in some useless drama (learned behavior) wasting energy and time, having us running around going no where (on the proverbial gerbil wheel), draining our valuable attention and energies resolving nothing... (Which scenario would you rather have?!)
Some have stated that what you need to do to gain clarity is, "drop the story and "feel" the feeling"... Sharing my experience... Years ago, my mind (or ego aspect) was retelling an old story of an incident (at the time!) the outcome was unfavorable, and I began getting angry... The more information I added to the story, the angrier I got. At some point, I didn't like where this feeling and line of useless past thinking was taking me (gerbil wheel of overriding emotions, recreating drama and altering my focus to unpleasant things), so I decided to try the technique, "Stop the story and "feel" the feeling". What happened next astonished me, I was peaceful... At first, I thought I was doing it wrong (being told I was supposed to experience some "emotional upheaval"), so I tried again, saying to myself, "Stop the story and "feel" the feeling". Again, the result... I was peaceful! What came next, was the realization ("Enlightened Luminosity", aha moment, Divine inspiration, inner guidance, etc.) that the story (or store-I) I was telling myself, was literally "fueling" the feeling I was having! Hence, if I wanted to "feel" better, then all I had to do was simply "Stop the story"! I then had the option to; remain in the peaceful present, focus on something else that was pleasant, or do things that would bring a sense of; accomplishment, and/or add to my already inherent bliss and/or joy!
Truth be told, all words carry definitions we all adopted from others that lead to feelings... If you think about words like; love, hate, happy, sad... Every time you say these words to yourself, you are recreating adopted feelings from other's definitions and examples that became a part of your own catalog of emotions and meanings (if you knew differently, and were given options to an alternative way or method to express yourself, you would choose another way! Therefore, there is no reason for any; guilt, shame, etc. (which is also learned ego!) just simply choose differently)!
Allow feelings to become; a barometer, gauge, and/or indicator, to determine where your focus needs to be... If you "feel" bad, then instantly steer your attention and focus on what you really want, which will instantly help you feel better, thus opening your true Self to possibilities... Drama is simply a reaction (re-action, or limited repeat performance) to a situation (usually from an adopted behavior and/or related to a learned response from a past experience), which is different from, specifically choosing and/or focusing thoughts towards a conscious (what you really want) response. By specifically steering your attention and focus toward what you do want, it will show up faster! It's just that simple!
When a situation occurs and you feel confused, what you have to ask yourself is, "What do I want to feel?" If it's peaceful, stop for a moment and concentrate on your breath... Feel the air enter your nostrils, moving down your wind pipe into your bronchial tubes, filling and expanding your lungs... Then pause for a moment and feel how your lungs respond to the air that you just inhaled, absorbing all the nutrients to fuel your whole body to feel nourished and alive... Once you are ready to focus on your exhale, feel the air released by your lungs, traveling all the way back up to your nostrils, gently leaving your nose to unite with the invisible ocean of air that surrounds us. Then repeat, concentrating on every moment and movement the air travels in your body and how your whole body responds automatically (without thinking) to this ability. If you are so inclined, take a moment and be grateful for having this automatic (without effort and thinking) ability.
If the above seems too much, you could just momentarily stare at a blank space on the wall... What you are aiming for is "blank", no; thinking, feeling, etc. just being in the moment. (If your mind begins to wander, saying things like, "This is stupid", then you are out of the expansive moment allowing the ego to alter and limit your focus! Just tell it to be quiet and allow yourself to just Be...) If you need to focus on something, again utilize the breathing example above, or create your own exploration of how your body responds and reacts to the air surrounding us all. If you find or become aware that your body is tight, take a moment and relax (you're allowed to say ahhhh!), then return to blank. Applying either of these techniques (or make one up on your own!) whenever you find yourself on the; ego's mind distracting gerbil wheel, or feel tense for whatever reason, this will allow your mind (and body) to unwind for a moment and relax, freeing and opening you to possibility... It's when you can stop the impulsive rants of the ego (by appreciating your breath, or go blank), when clarity and peace expands "within" your true Being, allowing room and space for inspiration and possible solutions to come (and/or just pop into focus), resulting in; balance, bliss and harmony once again!
Breathing: For thousands of years, the reason why so many have focused on the breath during meditation, is that the involuntary (without thinking) pattern to our breath, is actually an automatic connection with the Divine... With every inhalation we breathe in the Divine. With every exhalation we give to the Divine. Lastly, with every pause between breaths, we blend "with" the Divine. The amazing part is; we all have had this union "with" the Divine since our first breath, and we will continue to be in union after our last breath. The wondrous aspect is, there doesn't ever have to be any conscious inward or outward effort on our, (or anyone else's part!) to be "with" the Divine. In truth, it never left us, we only got distracted from it's constant Presence (that encompasses everything!)... This automatic (without effort) aspect; is, has always been and will always be a part of us (and all around us), this is the true definition of Grace (something given to us, without having to do anything to receive it!)...
"Follow your bliss" is a phrase and term coined by Joseph Campbell and Bill Moyers in their program "The Power of Myth" (an amazing documentary series presented on PBS that has aired off and on for decades. It is also available in book form and/or on DVD! An absolute must see, to help one to truly understand the path of discovery in life we are all on, and ultimately understand it!).
The phrase "Follow your bliss" is an energetic and vibratory affirming declaration which supports where you want to be and go, and will energetically add to your already inborn happiness and joy. However, "Follow your passion" is not only a cliche (or coined phrase someone came up with to garner interest and now everyone is using it to seem hip and in the know~!), it energetically and vibrationally creates a roller coaster ride of dramatic opposites! "Passion" (if you bother to look the word up~!) is about extremes of opposing and/or opposite emotions, culminating anywhere from extreme ecstasy to intense rage! If you enjoy roller coaster rides with dramatic extremes in your life, then by all means continue to use the word "passion", but if you are interested in supporting your (and other's) interests and life in a balanced way, creating and allowing room for all the wondrous things you want in your life, use the word "bliss" (From Wikipedia: "Bliss can be a state of profound satisfaction, happiness and joy, a constant state of mind, undisturbed by gain or loss.. ").
Understand, when we were young, the whole purpose of our experiencing extremes was to specifically figure out what we did and didn't like and/or want to have in our lives. At some point in our journey, we begin to realize that the swinging extremes of anything (like a metronome, pendulum on a clock, that swing to the far left, then to the far right, or seesaw that swings very high, then very low), won't support and/or sustain our health and well being. Rather, what is discovered (eventually!) that sustains us, is finding a balance between these aspects, where extremes may exist around us, but we don't find ourselves; engaging, getting caught up, or entangled in them. Instead, we find ourselves; balanced, residing in the calm, clarity, peace and wisdom that is our birthright, likened to being in the center, or eye of a hurricane, while the other extreme stuff whirls around us, not affecting our inner peace! Our organic and original state of being, is calm and peaceful... Chaos is generally created from the outside... We get to choose in every moment whether we allow it; in, create less or more, or choose to be at peace!
Understand too, if you desire and /or want "extreme" happiness, then what you are energetically drawing to yourself is also extreme sadness! Vibrationally, you can't have one without the other, simply because neither would exist without the other (without joy, there cannot be sadness to compare it to, and vise versa... )! This dichotomy (or aspects of opposites, or opposing forces) is part of the law of duality. If, however, you choose balance, (where neither extreme is your focus), life will automatically be harmonious!
To explain further the aspect of balance: In the remake of the movie, "The Razor's Edge" starring Bill Murray, set prior to WWI, folks grew up in an environment following the beliefs and dictates of the day, concerning how life is "supposed" to be. Then WWI comes along and everything changes... The war ends and Murray's character gets out of the military. After his horrid war experience, he decides rather than follow "convention" (what everyone else is; believing, doing and thinking), he instead chooses to find true meaning in his life (aside from what he learned and was told) by reading and traveling. His journey eventually leads him to a Buddhist temple in the Himalayas, where he stays and studies until he finds and reaches a new level of understanding within, where he feels connected with his true Self, allowing the world to be as it is (knowing he can choose to create whatever he wants that supports his new understanding!). At this point, he decides to leave the temple and go back out into the world... The last message the lama gives him before he departs is, "The road to enlightenment is a narrow one, it's like walking on a razor's edge." Truly I say unto you, balance is the key to everything!
Another aspect of allowing the Divine within to have more control over our lives and ourselves is opening to receive. Some folks have difficulty with receiving due to old scripts (meaning: other's definitions and/or rules) concerning "worthiness". Understand, when your mind is full of someone else's definitions, and you copy or mimic their projecting lack (which is intended for you to feel bad, so that you will do whatever they want, so they can feel better about themselves... How selfish is that?!), then you leave no room within you, to be all that you already are! Leave their definitions behind and understand that they are only repeating someone else's lack, simply because they don't know any better either and haven't been offered a different way to approach life. Instead, open yourself to realize you are "worthy" of experiencing and receiving amazing and wondrous things (being tangible or not), simply because you exist! The old definitions and/or scripts in your head stating that you aren't worthy, are someone else's beliefs and words that you adopted and/or chose to believe, and are now telling yourself in your own voice (stop it! :)).
In receiving, there is a difference between a "gift" and a "transaction". A true gift from someone isn't attached with expectations of "getting" something in return. A transaction is a business exchange wherein both parties "give and take" something from one another. If someone gives you something expecting something in return, this is a transaction and not a true gift! True gifts are given freely, and the only hope the true giver has, is that the receiver likes what's given to them... If the recipient likes the gift, then the giver automatically receives a gift back through the recipients' joy, wherein the cycle of delight continues... This is the true basis of "giving and receiving".
Understand, when folks say or try to make you feel that you are "unworthy" (in any form!), their sole false ego intent is to feel better about themselves (through trying to gain some learned illusionary sense of power over you (be it mind, body or soul) which they can't have unless you give it to them~!)! In truth, this behavior reveals and shows their own personal lack of awareness, through mimicking false beliefs that their personal power somehow lies outside of themselves, instead of residing within. (This delusional behavior is also a clue that you need to run away... The reason: Obviously, if this person truly thought that they were "worthy" and honestly valued themselves (and actually knew how to value themselves, thereby having the capacity to value you too!), bottom line, they wouldn't ever; call, tell and/or treat you as being; below or beneath them, better or worse, higher or lower, unworthy, etc.!).
If you live long enough, you realize that the only thing anyone has any control over, is our individual; perceptions, thoughts and what actions we choose to make, nothing else! If others try to corner and/or pigeon hole you into some metamorphic (made-up) little box that fits "their" limited comfort zone, understand that this is a reflection of their own emptiness and insecurity, in how they were taught to feel about themselves and others, and this aspect has absolutely nothing to do with you (and in reality, it has nothing to do with them either, they just don't know it yet)!
Note: If someone knows how to truly love themselves, in a balanced and healthy way, with both their self and others, then they will have a full and true capacity to love you, desiring and wanting what is best for you "and" for them!
Let go of the old worn out dictates (or rules), and in this moment embrace a new day and/or moment. You get to newly; create, discover and recover, who you truly already are and are meant to Be, in the Divine's terms, not someone else's; egotistical insecure definitions, or rules! You are Divine (and they are too) you get to radiate your true Being, nourishing both yourself and others in the process!
Note: Concerning what others "think" about you... It's not up to you to change someone else's; experience, their mind and/or their perceptions concerning what they "think" about you, that's "their" job (and most of the time, it's a reflection of how they feel about themselves (learned ego!), and has absolutely nothing to do with you or their true Selves either)! If you focus (or refocus) only on your true inner Being, Being all that you already are (prior to entrainment), the result can manifest that they will change their definition(s) about you (and themselves!), simply through their new experience(s) of You.
There may be those who don't and/or won't change their minds (understand, their false definitions and/or current reality of who they think you are (and who they think they are too~!), is caused and created by the fabricated or made up, pre-scripted ego (or false self-definitions) that were created long before most of us were born (this includes prior to our parents and their parents births as well!). It's these false "truths", adopted and learned as being "true" that creates numerous bogus (or false) definitions and perceptions about who they think they are and need to be, and who they think you are and should be, too! Therefore, it falsely feels better (at the moment) to them that you are in some way perceived as inferior and/or "less" than they are, or somehow useful towards their gaining inner happiness through outer means, by regurgitating (or repeating) definitions of what they falsely learned and understood to be true from others (ego)! This false personality reality (or ego), literally has nothing to do with you (and amazingly has nothing to do with them either, they just don't know it yet)!
Once open with your true Self, knowing the purity of what and who you "already" are (understanding that this aspect is hidden or unknown to the other person at this time!), when you encounter someone who isn't aware and awake, what others "think" about you, won't ever bother you again! Instead, compassionately you realize and understand that this person (or persons) is unknowingly choosing to falsely believe and think that what they are doing (from copying or mimicking their behavior from other's egos), is helping them achieve some falsely believed and learned outcome, simply because they don't know any better and haven't had any prior knowledge and/or understanding that they can choose; to do and/or think differently too! (Understand, we all at some time or another have been motivated by subconscious desires to be accepted by others and therefore feel better about ourselves, through adopting and/or emulating others; definitions and examples, of how to treat ourselves and others. Now we can choose differently, understanding that the true result of our; bliss, joy, peace and satisfaction, "always" begins and ends within!).
Another possibility may occur once we are; aware, open and in full recognition of our true "Enlightened Luminosity", where others freely open to their authenticity too (inspired by our happy and joyous examples!), by becoming aware of and choosing to release their own adopted; pre-scripted be-liefs and perceptions. This freewill choice to open themselves to their pure Being (or "Enlightened Luminosity"), allows them to; drop false i-deals, freeing space within, to Be and expand to who they already really are (prior to entrainment!) too! The effect of choosing to move "with" us in the same journey, is likened to a pebble being dropped into a pond... The waves created from the point of entry, travel outward to other distant shores...
Too often, we busily look for answers outside of ourselves that are actually right inside of us all along, all we need to do is stop and listen from within... Know that most of the time, the answer(s) you are looking for and / or seeking is simple... The only time an answer is complicated, is when we don't want to hear the simplicity of the first answer we received!
Know that your Inner guide will always let you know when it's time to find guidance, be it inwardly or outwardly, just remember either direction is the same coin! Let other's voices be an inspiration, to open yourself to your true Being... Know this, at some point on your journey, the realization will come "You are your own master" Dali Lama... All that is needed, is to just simply open within, and Be... You already are "Enlightened Luminosity"!
More later...
